Let your little Leprechaun get creative! March 08 2017, 0 Comments
We have declared March a “green month” for two very good reasons. Firstly, to save money and spoil your baby with our Green Special (our version of a ‘pot of gold’ - see discount code below). Secondly, we love to celebrate a holiday and St Paddy’s day is on the horizon! With the green festivities in mind, we thought to inspire a little DIY, something easy and entertaining for your little one.
For this exercise, all you need are four corks, ribbon, paper and a little blob of non-toxic green paint. Now, while we discovered this idea on a site called craftymorning.com, we thought to put our own Kapas spin on it and turn their 3-leafed clover into our lucky 4-leaf clover! (See below the simple “step-by-step”)
STEP 1. Tie 4 corks together with a piece of bright ribbon.
STEP 2. Dip the cork combo into the non-toxic green paint and dab onto your piece of paper.
STEP 3. Show your little one first and then guide their hands to mimic the process.
STEP 4. Add the stems onto the 4-leafed clovers.
This may look ridiculously easy, and it is, but trust us, your little one will love the creativity and fun, messy, playtime. Another little value add would be that children thrive off being outside so playing outdoors, in our opinion, is the ultimate crafting combo and as this activity requires no real engineering from your corner, make it as entertaining as possible; music up, suncream & hats on, green (non-toxic) paint out!
Our Green Special for this week is 15% OFF all our Short Sleeve Babygrows - our babygrows are perfect for everyday use in this beautiful summer heat.
